Murud Beach

I had planned a trip to Murud along with my friends on 30 and 31 October, 2010. We started from Thane at around 10:30 am on Saturday, 30 October.

Route details: We crossed the Thane Toll Junction, took the Airoli bridge to hit the Thane-Belapur Road, continued to CBD Belapur, took right from below the Mumbai-Pune Expressway to hit the Uran road in order to bypass the traffic at Panvel, took the left to hit the JNPT (toll) road (NH4B), touched the Mumbai-Goa Highway (NH17), reached Vadhkal Naka and continued straight on the Alibag road, took the first major left turn (opposite HP Petrol Pump) in order to bypass Alibag, took the next immediate left turn and then a right turn to hit the main coastal road going to Revdanda via Nagaon, crossed the Revdanda-Salav Bridge, took the immediate right turn to hit the coastal Murud road, passed Kashid beach, entered Murud, took a left turn from the Maruti Mandir Naka and our (Dattakripa) hotel gate was immediately after the Naka (junction).
